Half a 2020-chord gives sinβ2=10r,\sin\frac{\beta}{2} = \frac{10}{r}, and the law of cosines on the isosceles triangle with legs rr and base 2222 gives 222=2r2(1cosα),22^2 = 2r^2(1 - \cos\alpha), so cosα=1242r2.\cos\alpha = 1 - \frac{242}{r^2}.
